Heliotrope Quail Bolo tie - Black, 36", Brass

Featuring the beloved Gambel’s Quail (Callipepla gambelii). This original, stylized design was made by hand sawing metal shapes, then arranging and soldering them together stacked, adding texture with hammers and other texturing tools, sanding, filing, patinating, polishing. After the master design was finished, artist Spring Winders made a mold in order to reproduce the design using the lost wax casting process in the Heliotrope studio in Barrio Viejo, Tucson, Arizona. A large, substantial bolo tie that compliments any shirt.
